Guches Ranch, founded in 1964 by Robert and Shirley Guches, has been a cherished cornerstone of the Applegate Valley in Jacksonville, Oregon. With a vision to create a lasting legacy for their family and to preserve the awe-inspiring natural beauty of this remarkable region, the Guches family built a ranch that would stand the test of time. After Robert’s passing in 2002, Shirley continued the work they had started together, nurturing the ranch and its vision for over two decades. Her dedication ensured that the essence of the ranch remained intact until her passing in 2023.

Today, Guches Ranch is led by their grandson, Robert Thomas Preston, who has infused new energy and ideas into the family legacy. Inspired by Walt Disney's vision of a brighter, imaginative tomorrow, Robert has transformed the ranch into a resort-style staycation destination where guests can escape into a world of wonder, relaxation, and endless possibilities.
